Poles love Eurovision!

According to a survey in Gazeta Wyborcza on Polish dreams for the future 15% of Poles say winning the Eurovision would be their dream. It's fantastic to know people feel like this and I am sure Warsaw would give us a great contest. Isis was a big favourite of mine this year and deserved to be much higher up on the scoreboard. Another favouite of mine from this years Piosenka dla Europy was looking through her window Sandra Oxendry with her camp as knickers 'Superhero'. Come back next year Sandra, we love you!

Marie Serneholt - I Need A House

I have just discovered this song from Rachel at Work Your Magic and it is something feel good for your Wednesday. The lyrics might be a bit naff eg. 'I need a sink' hmm! but I reckon Marie needs to be first on stage at Melodifestivalen 2009 with a Lord G'Son stomper! She kind of reminds me of Tereza 'Have Some Fun' but with better vocals and no creepy DJ in the background!

Claudia Faniello and Mihai collaborate for 2009?

Claudia and Mihai are apparently in discussions about collaborating to represent Malta for 2009! Calaudia's manager spoke to OGAE Malta. Mr Fenech explained that Claudia is considering all possible options for her participation in next year's Malta Song for Europe. "She might not even participate! It is still early in the day", concluded Mr Fenech, who is quite aware that Claudia is being tipped as one of the hot favourites to win next year's Malta Song for Europe following her 2nd and 3rd place at the MSFE 2008. In the meantime, Claudia Faniello's Caravaggio will represent OGAE Malta at the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2008, following a vote held among the members of OGAE MALTA.
It sounds good to me! Anything to bring Eurovision to beautiful Malta!

Get these girls to Eurovision!
